Pinoy’s Best oDesk Payment Method

There are a lot of oDesk payment methods to choose from:
* ACH (aka Direct Deposit – US contractors only – Free)
* PayPal
* Payoneer Prepaid MasterCard
* Moneybookers
* Wire Transfer

PAYPAL
Yet the best payment method that a Pinoy freelancer can use is through paypal. All you need to have is an account in paypal (free), your oDesk email account and any bank account to which the money will be withdrawn. I used EON from Unionbank because it’s the most accessible and less hassle.
When applying to paypal be sure to include or add your oDesk email (sample@odesk.com) as the primary email. Don’t panic if you’ll see limited account or needs to verify notice because this can be solve by taking the steps below.
You can check the detailed information here: How to Receive oDesk Earnings Through Paypal.

You already got money from oDesk but now what? How can you get that into tangible cash?
1. UnionBank
Apply for an Eon Debit card from Unionbank to link that to your paypal account. You’ll need two valid ids and some payment requirement. You’ll be able to get your EON debit card after 2-3 weeks. Don’t forget to deposit Php200.00 to your account to activate it. So for you have an EON card prepare no less than Php 500.00.

2. EON Visa Card
Assuming you already have your EON card, the next step is to register to EON cyber Account which take another 2-3 weeks to be verified. You might repeatedly log in but confused why there’s an error. This is normal; it takes time for Unionbank to get your account up and running.

One word during this time is PATIENCE. As I remember it almost took mine more than a month before it was completely verified.

3. Back to Paypal
When you have successfully log in to your CyberEON account then your paypal will be now ready to be linked. The EXPUSE number needed to have for your Paypal will be on your transaction history. This will waive off the limits imposed to your paypal account.
Here’s a video that will help you with your EON cards.

    First make sure the credit card you wish to use is added to your paapyl accout. If you only have a bank account in your paapyl you can add a credit card by going to My Account, then to your profile, then under Financial Information you will be able to add a credit card. When you are paying for an auction, right before you check out and press the pay button, you can edit your payment details (there should be a link on the checkout page) and from there you can choose which card you wish to use. Hope that helps!
